Lowly Servant found the Hunters's Board

Hello again! A week off, but I've prepared a lot of new mechanics! And updates! And music! And many more! I've been grinding all this time and I almost finished what I planned originally last week, but an idea stuck with me. I decided to postpone the update and polish it even more, and I think it was a good idea. Check it out for yourself!

Changelog:

  • Added Task system, so called Hunter's Board, which lets you earn rewards. For now the only reward are coins but I have plans for custom ones.
  • Added skip and reroll button for tasks
  • Added more options
  • Added main menu music and main game music. Consider them placeholders, once I will find more time I want to learn and compose them myself
  • Updated Static Obstacle 1, the Rocks. Now you can see them clearly
  • Updated audio master. Now it should be easier to implement more sounds
  • Optimised save master
  • Fixed layer issues
  • Fixed minor bugs with late save data loading
  • Fixed bugs and code spaghetti (to a degree)

Plans:

To be honest, I don't know. I will try my best but my schedule is pretty tight. I am happy that I finally added more audio controls and finally implemented proper-ish way to play music and the foundations laid with the new Task System will help me implement more of them. Next update will be a lot less ambitious. I think it will mostly be about fixing styles, bugs and a lot of tweaking. Maybe I will try and fix some major issues with Web build, maybe

I hope the first Demo build will be ready soon. I believe it's getting closer and closer!
